Our passion is food. Whether we are cooking a feast for Sunday family dinner, or trying new recipes in our Sous Vide. It's all about food. If you're from NOLA you will know that there is one very odd phenomenon that happens at almost every meal. While we are in the middle of eating, we will start a discussion about other food or other places to eat or dessert..we are literally in the middle of eating and we are talking about eating another meal.. It sounds weird to some but that's how we do it down here. That's what makes us special. We love our food and we have a PASSION for it..
We are not professional food tasters, we're not Michellin star winners. We are simply people who like to eat and have tasted some really amazing dishes..
All we would like to do is share our info with you and hope you are able to use it to help you stay away from mediocrity. Or at least prepare you based on our tastes.
We love exploring the best food locations in New Orleans and the surrounding cities.
We can say one thing though, no matter what we are eating our favorite food is anything shared with friends!

Food has a special ability to bring people together. We often find this in the people you meet at the local sandwich place, or the gas station, that has been selling the best fried chicken since the '70s. Yes we are old enough to remember the '70's..lol, We hope you will find that this Blog helps you to see what else is out there if you just go one more block to the left, right, front, or back. You just might be walking away from the best meal you will ever have.

I have been cooking for a long time, but that doesn't mean that you need a ton of cooking experience to follow our recipes. The biggest thing you need is patience. Some recipes can be totally ruined if you're not paying attention. While some others we call lazy recipes or dump and go.. Everything goes in one pot, you turn it on and that's it, wait for it to cook.. No matter which recipes we post We will make sure that they are interesting for all levels of chefs.
